How do i join?

JOINING EMMSC

Applications for Full Membership are normally accepted from guys over 18 years old who live in the East Midlands area. Becoming a Full Member of East Mercia MSC isn't difficult, but we do ask that prospective members show a commitment to the club before Full Membership is granted. For those who live further afield or for reasons where regular support would be difficult there is "Associate Membership".

"Would you like to join East Mercia?"

We welcome guys who have the same interests as us and would love to see you at a club night soon. Come down to see us and you can have a chat about membership. If you have already been along to club nights and would like a membership application form, you can download one from the link below (pdf file). Because your form must be sponsored by two existing full members, it is better to come along to a couple of club nights first and get to know us before you apply for membership, but don't let this put you off. You will soon make lots of new friends and be part of the biggest MSC club in the UK.

"What happens next?"

You just turn up to three events over the next six months and have a great time!

"What happens after the six months are up?"

Your application is considered by the Committee and, if approved, you will be asked to pay the balance of the subscription and be invited to come along to a New Members evening. This will usually be a regular club night and there are no 'initiation' rituals, other than the presentation of membership cards, club badges and a warm welcome from other club Members. If you haven't been to three events, you may re-apply to become a Full Member or, instead, apply to become a an Associate Member.
